Production consultant and Head of Production

Senior production leadership, now working directly with brands, broadcasters and agencies.

I have spent nearly thirty years making campaigns, channel identities and documentaries, first at the BBC and then as Head of Production at Red Bee Creative. I now work independently: as a consultant, as an interim Head of Production, and as the producer a project needs.

Produced for

Apple TV/ BBC/ Disney+/ DreamWorks/ EBU/ Food Network/ France Télévisions/ Hallmark/ NBCUniversal Telemundo/ Netflix/ Nissan/ Sky Sports/ UKTV/ Warner Bros. Discovery/ WDR

Consulting

For brands, broadcasters, streamers and agencies

A senior producer on your side of the table.

Commissioning film is expensive and full of decisions that are hard to undo. I help clients get those decisions right: who to brief, what it should cost, how long it really takes, and what you own when it is finished.

Advisory

A senior view on a brief, a bid or a budget before you commit. Production company selection, cost review, schedules and contracts.

Producing

Campaigns, idents and branded content produced end to end, with the right team for the job and the budget, schedule and quality kept under control.

Interim Head of Production

Your production function, run properly while you hire, restructure or grow. People, process, finance, legal and compliance.

Talent and rights

Talent deals, third party IP, clearances and usage, negotiated so the work can run wherever it needs to.

From the BBC’s first live junction to twelve idents cut from paper.

I produce in the studio and on location across Europe, with crews, talent, artists and post houses, and I stay with a project from the first budget to the final delivery.
